The artist behind the sound
Rainer Engel
ANGEL4MUSIC is the music project of Rainer Engel — a creative project built around songs, ideas, stories and the freedom to explore different sounds.
The music moves between emotional songwriting, electronic production, cinematic atmospheres and more playful, energetic material. Rather than following a single formula, ANGEL4MUSIC is about following the idea of the song.
Every song starts somewhere different. A feeling. A thought. A story. A rhythm. Sometimes serious, sometimes playful, sometimes unexpected — the result is a catalogue that refuses to stay in one box.
- Before the music
- Rainer Engel founded the fashion label High Society in Monaco in 1985 and spent the following years in the luxury fashion trade.
- Creative years
- A long chapter of his life is documented in his autobiography Ein spektakuläres Leben, published in German, English and Portuguese.
- The move into music
- Now 73 and living in Brazil, he turned to writing and releasing music, publishing his own lyrics under the ANGEL4MUSIC name.
- ANGEL4MUSIC
- The catalogue runs from reflective songs such as MY BELIEVE and IT’S MY LIFE to anthems written for football terraces and the Munich Oktoberfest.
